House of Uni Calypso Collection Lipsticks Review

So we recently tested out some House of Uni Calypso Collection lipsticks to review for you all! Our first impression was that the packaging leaves much to be desired (but that's coming from a couple of packaging snobs). They are currently revamping their brand so maybe that means cute tubes are in the future! You probably want to hear about the actual product so let's dig right in to the good stuff. The lipsticks are actually pretty amazing (and only $9 a piece). The texture and feel is really similar to MAC and therefor they could charge more for them, but they've said that they will never go above $10. They also offer bundle deals like 3 for $20 or 5 for $35. They apply light and creamy and feel like you aren't wearing anything, all while maintaining high pigment and keeping your lips moisturized. We wore these lipsticks all day and didn't feel like our lips dried out at all. We actually prefer their formula over some of our more expensive products. Our favorite thing about this brand is their selection of colors. They have crazy bright and bold colors like purples, blues, and greens, but also have a wide array of unique pinks that we are currently obsessing over (Love Sponge has been my go to for the past few days and now that I'm looking at Romantic Call again, I might switch it up!). We totally recommend trying some of these lipsticks and hope you like them as much as we do.

Packaging
0
The tubes we have are mismatched (black or silver) and simple sticker labels on the bottom. They're also smaller than the average lipstick. We received these products to review before they switched up their packaging.
Scent
 Vanilla. Yum!
Application
5
 These all apply really nicely.
Pigmentation
Very pigmented lipsticks. Some colors more so than other.
Comfort
Very comfortable. These feel like a standard lipstick.
Longevity
These last about as long as MAC lipsticks.
Dupability (Originality)
There are many pinks and neutrals- similar to some MAC shades!

Overall Score: 3.4
