I think one thing that is obvious by the pictures of these Essence Cosmetics All About.. eye palettes is that the color payoff varies from palette to palette. Their website says they're meant to be "buildable" so some of the sheerer ones might be that way for a reason. "Sunrise" and "Paradise" are both extremely soft and fragile so you pick up more product and get that BAM color result. Since they are fragile we had an issue with some broken ones upon arrival. Their customer service was helpful and quickly sent us replacements! I think that for $5 these are well worth their value. There's a palette color for everyone's style. Just handle them gently (unlike us!).

Typical clear plastic drugstore packaging. A few shades shattered during shipment.

I don't reach for these to have a bold eyeshadow with good color payoff. They are mainly used for shimmer, but some shades are more pigmented than others.

These definitely aren't the longest lasting eyeshadows I've tried. Use a primer!

A few of the palettes are exotic when it comes to the shades, but a lot are dupable.
