We had a chance to review some Essence products for you. Let's start with the lipsticks! The packaging is simple which I like (usually). I didn't really detect any scent from these which I found strange for a drugstore brand. That's awesome though, because sometimes strong icky scents can make a lipstick gross to wear. When I applied this I did notice that the formula was thin and didn't adhere to my lips. They're quite pigmented though! Next we'll touch on the lipglosses. again, I didn't really detect a scent from these. They live up to their name XXXL Shine! They're very shiny and the added shimmer in these just takes it to another level. They're not sticky at all and last about as long as you would expect a gloss to. They're definitely not opague, as shown above. But we like the gloss and feel it has earned a spot in our purses!

The lip gloss tubes are cute and clear with silver lids, while the lipsticks are plain and black.

Not much of a scent, which is better than a bad one!

The lip glosses are nice and not sticky, while the lipsticks are super thin and don't adhere to lips well- very movable.

These are not something you'd reach for for pigment, although, some shades are more pigmented than others.

They do well in this category, but are just super thin and slippery.

The lip glosses last about as long as you'd expect gloss to and the lipsticks don't last very long.
