We recently tried some of Essence Cosmetics Metal Glam Eyeshadows and thought we'd tell you guys what we thought of them! They are a super shimmery product, hence the name, and I apologize that this photo doesn't do them justice! They're really more beautiful in person. They come with a generous amount of product for being $2.99 a piece. If you decide to try these out, be SURE to use an eyeshadow primer because these are so soft and glittery we think without a primer they might just fall right on your cheeks. With a primer, they are gorgeous. I did find the darker colors to have better color payoff than the light colors. I also found that when I swiped my finger on them there seems to be a glitter overspray on the top layer, which can be a little deceiving. But hey, for $2.99 I do think that these babies are a steal. You can buy them at your local Ulta, or online. If you go directly through Essence' website, you are sure to run into excellent customer service. They are so willing to make their customers happy which is very refreshing. Have you tried these Metal Glam Eyeshadows? What are your thoughts?!

Some shades perform better than others. I'd reccomend the darker shades for the best payoff.

It's up in the air with these. Darker shades have better pigmentation.

I can just tell that a few of these will dupe MAC shadows!
