Insomnia Cosmetics Matte Lip Haze Review

We hope you're in the mood to online shop because we've been reviewing products left and right and are excited to share our thoughts with you! There's A LOT of indie beauty brands were about to share, so if you like that, that's great, if you don't, that's fine too! Just letting you all know ahead of time! FIRST, Look at the matte lip hazes from Insomnia Cosmetics (vegan and cruelty free)! We actually love these for many reasons- look at "Karma Haze" and try to tell me that color isn't gorgeous. It's giving off the Lime Crime "Pansy" vibe to me! They have a whole range of bright and beautiful shades as well as pastel shades, which we cannot WAIT to share with you guys when we receive them! If you're like me and are looking for a mint or robin's egg blue liquid to matte- check these out! These have a quick drying time and apply with such ease! I love that the wand doesn't pull out a big glob of product, but just the right amount to pace yourself and ensure precise application without overdoing it. They aren't too bad with drying out your lips either, like some others on the market. A few things I don't care for- the paint like scent that these give off when applying, as well as the printed labels on the tube. Not that it effects the integrity of the product at all, I just am a sucker for cute packaging and didn't care for the printing of the label to smudge off on my hands. All in all, I'd definitely recommend these and hope that you all will support this amazing, growing beauty brand because I believe they deserve more recognition.

Packaging
3
Standard tubes amongst indie brands liquid lipsticks, with DIY chevron labels. The sticker label ink rubbed off on mine.
Scent
If there's one thing I don't love about these it's the scent. It smells artificial, paint-like, plasticy. I'm not sure.
Application
3.5
These apply nicely. The wand gives you just enough product without overdoing it, and it's not too drying of a formula.
Pigmentation
These are not the most pigmented liquid lipsticks, but they do build up nicely.
Comfort
Not bad!
Longevity
Very long lasting.
Dupability (Originality)
These come in incredibly unique shades. Any pastel shade you can think of!

Overall Score: 3.5
