LA Girl Flat Finish Pigment Gloss Review

Here are swatches of the new LA Girl Flat Finish Pigment Glosses (I know, it's a mouthful). It's basically just a fancy name for a liquid to matte! They are only $5 a piece and can be compared to Anastasia Beverly Hills. They are just amazing quality for their prices. I just tried these out for the first time yesterday and am already obsessing. The colors ar clearly gorgeous, and a few of them are super unique. Of course, NO liquid to matte is perfect. I just want to reiterate that to everyone time and time again. When you have a formula like this that is meant to dry on your lips, you can't expect them to moisturize, not flake off, etc, etc. Each liquid to matte formula will have a flaw- I haven't found one that is just "perfect" yet. Some similar products dry quicker than others, I found these to stay tacky for a few minutes (about the same amount of time that Anastasia's take to dry). This is awesome for those of you that like to take your time/ need time to correct errors. That's definitely up my alley. If you're the bomb at application and don't need drying time, you may have to keep your lips apart for a few minutes so they can dry completely before pressing them together. The negative- I've noticed that these dry out more than usual. This may lead to having to completely take it off to reapply it throughout the day. I'll update you when I keep it on for a full day. Anyway, we have a FEW dupes up our sleeve that we're prepared to share with you, but other than that- WHAT DO YOU WANT TO SEE THESE COMPARED TO?! Comment below with requests and we'll do our best to fulfill them! (Psst.. Check out the specific dupe page to see if one of these has already been compared to your favorite high-end!).

Packaging
 4.5
The tubes of these are jumbo sized and hold tons of product, and are clear which show the color inside. My least favorite thing about these is the wand inside. It's a little long and awkward to apply.
Scent
I don't grab for these for the scent. They smell slightly paint like which is similar to Anastasia Beverly Hills liquid lipsticks.
Application
3.8
These aren't so bad when applying. Some colors are streakier than others, but they are a super affordable liquid lipstick which I think needs to be kept in mind.
Pigmentation
There are some shades that are more pigmented than others. I believe "Iconic" is the one that lacked pigment upon application.
Comfort
Not too bad for an affordable liquid lipstick. These do adhere to your lips and feel a tad drying.
Longevity
3.5
Similar to a lot of high end liquid lipsticks on the market. They can get tacky and crumbly (some more than others). Avoid eating greasy meals.
Dupability (Originality)
These are dupes for a lot of high end liquid lipsticks. Yay!

Overall Score: 3.4
