Dose of Colors Matte Lipstick Review

Thank you @mybeautyaid on Instagram for sharing these swatches with us.

Thank you @a_touchofgrace on Instagram for sharing these swatches with us.

We wanted to touch on the limited edition Terra Collection from Dose of Colors. The cost is $58 for three limited edition shades that come in this bundle shown above. We get so many questions asking "Do you think this set is worth it?" I mean, it's so hard to say! Obviously we encourage you to make your own choice and do what's best for you and your wallet, but PERSONALLY, we think it's totally worth it! However, consider that we are both makeup collectors (or hoarders, whichever you prefer) and can't resist a good limited edition bundle. It is kind of a bummer that you HAVE to buy all three colors when you could only be lusting after just 1-2 shades, but there's always people just like you out there wanting the same thing. Keep the shades you want and try selling the shades you don't! I'm sure someone out there is lusting over the one you won't use! These will be coming back toward the end of 2015 and will be available INDIVIDUALLY!

Packaging
 5
I love Dose of Colors frosty tubes and white lids. The packaging is very high quality. I also loved how the Terra Collection (LE) came in a special box.
Scent
I don't reach for these for the scent. It's a very faint, paint like scent- much like Anastasia Beverly Hills.
Application
Dose of Colors has one of my favorite doe-foot applicators that hugs the lips. Most of the shades apply consistently, but I would have liked to have had the red shades be a little less runny.
Pigmentation
Yes, yes, a million times, yes.
Comfort
Very comfortable liquid lipsticks, one of my favorite formulas.
Longevity
Extremely long lasting.
Dupability (Originality)
The shades are very unique (especially the Terra Collection shades).

Overall Score: 4.4
