Urban Decay Matte Revolution Lipstick Review

So we recently splurged on the new Urban Decay Matte Revolution lipsticks and totally love them. Our initial reaction was that they are amazingly creamy for being a matte lipstick. Even the "matte" finish is a little more satin like than we had expected. Luckily, this means they feel nice and nourishing on the lips. We love the sturdy, high end tubes and the product inside is definitely high quality. The color selection was a little womp-womp, as I noticed a few drugstore dupes instantly upon swatching. These are definitely something I will use for a special event or a night out, because they are such amazing quality. However, I don't know if that justifies the $22 price point.

Packaging
5
The quality is so there in this packaging. The boxes and tubes are awesome, they're something I'd like to show off. They are sturdy and keep the product nice and safe.
Scent
These don't have much of a scent. Although that is better than having an icky scent, I would have liked to have a nice vanilla smell for the price point. I think that would make me reach for these more.
Application
These apply amazingly. They creaminess just lets these glide on the lips effortlessly and provides full coverage.
Pigmentation
The pigment is spot on.
Comfort
Extremely creamy for a matte lipstick.
Longevity
4.5
This is probably where that price point is coming from. I find these to be very long lasting!
Dupability (Originality)
Womp-womp. As soon as I swatched these, I realized that the color selection left a lot to be desired. I have tons of drugstore dupes sitting around for these shades.

Overall Score: 4.1
