Kat Von D Mi Vida Loca Remix Palette Review

I apologize if my swatches of the new Kat Von D Mi Vida Loca Remix palette don't do it justice, it's just really hard to capture perfection in a photo ;). So this palette is $59 for 24 1.1g eyeshadows, and is limited edition. When I saw the first sneak peaks of this palette, I thought the eyeshadows looked really small but this palette is actually GIANT. It's bigger than my head! The colors all perform so amazingly but would you really expect anything less from KvD? Even the matte shadows (which is the majority of the palette, I believe there are only about 9 or so shimmery shades) are incredibly creamy and velvety to the touch. Remember that this palette is limited edition, so snag one while you can!

Packaging
5
I could and would never rate Kat Von D's packaging as anything less than perfection. She designs all of the artwork and logos by hand, which makes everything uniquely different and really captures her edge. I believe this particular palette is supposed to embody a record, so the shadows are placed strategically in a circular design.

Application
No matter the texture and finish of KvD's shadows, they always apply flawlessly. In my opinion, they are top of the line.
Pigmentation
 4.9
Okay, so yes these are clearly all crazy pigmented. I don't even think my swatches did these justice for how bold they REALLY are! The only colors that were slightly LESS pigmented than the rest are "dark wave" and "muse." Still being very pigmented, they just took a little extra product to match the consistency of the others.
Comfort
These exceed expectations comfort-wise. They are so smooth and creamy to the touch.
Longevity
No problems with longevity. I'd always recommend using a primer no matter how great the shadows are.
Dupability (Originality)
I wouldn't say the shades in this palette are completely out there, because a lot are shown to be similar to the Morphe 35b palette. I don't mind owning both, though!

Overall Score: 4.7
